CHICAGO (CBS) – One person died after a fight in the Bronzeville neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.
Police say at approximately 12:58 p.m., a man, age unknown, was fatally shot after a physical altercation with an unidentified man in the 4700 block of South Cottage Grove.
The assailant shot the victim twice in the chest before fleeing north.
The victim was transported to University Hospital of Chicago where he was pronounced dead.
No one is in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
