Sacramento police said more than 100 shell casings were recovered from the scene in the K and 10th Street neighborhood where the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday. At least three buildings and three vehicles were hit by the deadly gunfire.

The victims have been identified as Johntaya Alexander, 21, Melinda Davis, 57, Sergio Harris, 38, Joshua Hoye-Lucchesi, 32, Yamile Martinez-Andrade, 21, and DeVazia Turner, 29.

12 other people were injured in the shooting; at least four of them suffered serious injuries.
