WAREHAM, Mass. — Five people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a single vehicle plunged 30 feet down an embankment onto a Wareham beach.
The crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. near the intersection of Onset Avenue and Hotel Road, in Wareham, the fire department confirmed.
Six people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and 5 people were transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries. Officials say the occupant’s ages are unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
