Corps of US Marines killed in Osprey exercise in Norway return home


DOVER, Del. — The our bodies of 4 Marines who died in a army airplane crash throughout a NATO train had been transferred to the USA on Friday.

The US Marine Corps stated an Osprey airplane crashed March 18 in a Norwegian city within the Arctic Circle, killing all 4 Marines. Marine officers stated Saturday that a whole bunch of U.S. Marines, sailors, servicemen and civilians returned a ultimate salute to fallen Marines in Bod, Norway, early Friday.

Marine Corps identifies 4 useless in NATO train crash

– Captain Matthew J. Tomkiewicz, 27, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

– Captain Ross A. Reynolds, 27, of Leominster, Massachusetts.

– Artillery Sergeant. James W. Speedy, 30, of Cambridge, Ohio.

– Cpl. Jacob M. Moore, 24, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky.

The boys had been all assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 261, Marine Plane Group 26, 2nd Marine Plane Wing stationed at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. They had been collaborating in a long-running NATO train known as Chilly Response, which authorities stated was unrelated to Russia’s warfare in Ukraine.
