BOSTON — A crane tipped over at a construction site in Boston, prompting a large emergency response on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters responding to the area of East Cottage and Dorchester avenues in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood launched a technical rescue to upright the toppled crane, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Photos from the scene showed the crane resting on a building that is under construction with its wheels in the air.
City planning records indicate the site is being built into a five-story, mixed-use development.
There were no reported injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
