Eloy Jiménez was taken off the field with an apparent leg injury, originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Eloy Jiménez left Saturday’s game against the Twins with what looked like a right leg injury. Jiménez injured himself while sprinting to first base, trying to beat a ground ball. As he approached the bag, Jiménez stretched towards the base and landed awkwardly.
Jiménez remained on the ground for several minutes while the coaching staff came to take care of him. Eventually he got up on his own, but was kicked off the playing field.
