SUMMER SCORCHER
We tied a record high in Boston again Sunday reaching 98°! That heat isn’t going anywhere yet. A HEAT ADVISORY continues through 8pm Tuesday with feels like readings around 100 degrees. We will eventually start to see some relief from the heat in the middle of the week with an approaching front, but the humidity will still be on the sticky side.
UNSETTLED WEATHER
Storms Sunday left some wind damage across parts of the area. We rinse and repeat Monday with showers and storms popping up any time after 1pm. While the storm risk looks a little lower, storms still could produce heavy rain, lightning, and gusty wind. An approaching front will help to trigger more storms Tuesday leading to a better chance for widespread rain. That front will stall nearby bringing rain chances each day and cooler temperatures, highs will reach the low 80s and upper 70s through the end of the week!
