Who was Mwai Kibaki?

Emilio Stanley Mwai Kibaki better Known as Mwai Kibaki, was a Kenya Politician who served as the third president of Kenya from December 2002 until April 2013. He had previously served as the fourth Vice-President of Kenya for ten years from 1978 to 1988. Actually, he was involved in Kenya politics for more than a decade. He was the President, who knew Kenya more than any person in Kenya. He worked for Kenya and its development.

Mwai Kibaki Death Cause

He was born in 1931, the youngest of eight children of his parents. He completed his secondary education in grades earning him a scholarship to study at the London School of Economics. In 1958 he returned to Makerere University as an assistant lecturer in economics.

When he visited Kenya he helped to draft what would become an independent Kenya’s first constitution. He officially returned to Kenya in 1960 and served for two years as a board member for KANU, Kenya’s largest political party at the time.
