The Indian Premier League has produced many memorable moments this season, but we haven’t seen batters come out with bad balls as often. In the game between PBKS and SRH, one such moment came when Rahul Tripathi went out on a bad ball which was played by left arm spinner Harpreet Brar.
the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings face off in the final match of the IPL 2022 Championship Stage. Both teams are out of playoff contention and playing for pride. SRH Alternate Skipper Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the toss and decided to bat first against the Punjab Kings. Their usual skipper Kane Williamson returned home for the birth of his second child who is Priyam Garg came out to open baton with Abhishek Sharma. However, the batter failed to impress as he was fired for just 4 runs by Kagiso Rabada.
SRH in-form man Rahul Tripathi came out at bat at number three and looked in good contact. He was boundary hitting and also spinning the shot well with Abhishek Sharma. However, Harpreet Brar, who was throwing the third ball of the eighth on Rahul Tripathi, fired a side leg ball which he attempted to hit over the thin leg for a boundary. But he couldn’t get the right elevation and found Shikhar Dhawan who stood short-legged slender inside the circle and took an easy hold.
Rahul Tripathi was furious with himself as he returned to the dugout.
