Virat Kohli’s form has been a source of concern for the cricketer himself as well as Royal Challengers Bangalore for whom he plays in the Indian Premier League. RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar spoke about the form of right-handed hitters and he thinks Kohli will be back among the runs soon.
Virat KohliThe form of has been a huge source of concern for the former RCB skipper and his team management. Kohli is having a very poor IPL season with the bat and has so far recorded two consecutive golden ducks which has never happened before. In this year’s IPL, Virat Kohli scored just 119 points in 8 games with an average of 17, which is his lowest since 2008. In the first year of the IPL, Kohli had no averaged just 15 after playing 13 games in the tournament.
However, the RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar is of the opinion that Virat Kohli will bounce back and be among the leads soon enough.
“He (Kohli) is someone who has always played for RCB. Players go through these kinds of difficult times. He started the season very well, almost reaching the winning points in Pune, but then you have a run-out weird or the first edge that finds their bat lands in the hands of the defensive player,” Sanjay Bangar said as quoted by PTI.
The RCB head coach in batting defense said he did everything as a player under his control.
“He certainly does everything within his control. He makes use of his fitness and skill and takes good breaks and doesn’t let the pressure get to him. He has taken breaks at regular intervals and will continue to do so. in the future.” he said.
