A report from last week claiming the Arizona Cardinals have yet to make a contract offer to two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray amid his desire to put pen to paper on a extension was followed by suggestions that other teams were “monitoring” his status with his current employer.
Things took an interesting turn this week when cornerback Patrick Peterson and running back Chase Edmonds, Murray’s former teammates at Arizona, hinted during a podcast episode that they thought the The 24-year-old could be looking to leave the Cardinals in his pursuit to win regularly on football’s biggest stages.
