Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of Massachusetts – Boston 25 News



BOSTON — We’re on a SEVERE WEATHER ALERT from the Boston 25 Weather Team due to a severe thunderstorm warning in parts of Massachusetts.

This alert is in effect for West central Worcester County in central Massachusetts, Southeastern Hampshire County in western Massachusetts, Southeastern Franklin County in western Massachusetts, Central Hampden County in western Massachusetts until 4:15 p.m.

Wind gusts of 60 mph, hail, lightning, and heavy rain is possible.

Impacted locations include Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Amherst, Northampton, West Springfield, Ludlow, South Hadley, Easthampton, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Palmer, Ware, Granby, Southampton, Hadley, Warren, West Brookfield, Hardwick and Shutesbury.
