BOSTON — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of New Hampshire on Thursday.
The warning is in effect for Northern Sullivan County, South Central Grafton County, and Northwestern Merrimack County, Northwestern Merrimack County until 2:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance for strong wind gusts and quarter-size hail in these areas.
In the Bay State, the watch is in effect for Berkshire, Hampden, Worcester, Essex, Hampshire, Franklin and Middlesex counties until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
There is also a watch that impacts New Hampshire’s Belknap, Carroll, Cheshire, Coos, Grafton, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham, Strafford, and Sullivan counties until 8 p.m.
Damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, lightning, an isolated tornado and hail is possible.
