A new video gives wheelchair astronauts one of the clearest looks yet inside a crater on Mars.
YouTuber Seán Doran used an image taken by the HiRISE (High Resolution Imaging Experiment) camera on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter earlier this year. He wrote in the YouTube description that the image had been “denoised, blended, graduated and resized” to create a stunning video:
Doran also added the song “Itasca, It’s Glowing Red Hot” from Chris Zabriskie’s “Music From Neptune Flux” album.
The University of Arizona, which created and operates HiRISE, called it “the most powerful camera ever sent to another planet.”
