WEEKEND IN VIEW
After a soaking rain across parts of southern New England Thursday night, we are starting Friday morning off on a quiet note. It’s looking good for our Zip Trip in Kingston this morning with 70s to start and 80s by the time we wrap things up at 10am. It will be hot and humid this afternoon with highs near 90 degrees. Plan on clouds at times, especially later this evening as another cold front approaches. I don’t expect we will see much for rain along this front, and most showers will fall overnight while most of us are sleeping. This is going to sweep the humidity away for the weekend though.
Plan on plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday, highs will reach the mid to upper 80s with lower humidity. Another great weekend on tap for us!
POTENTIAL HEAT WAVE
Next week is looking steamy! The heat and humidity is back on Monday with highs near 90 degrees. We could be looking at another heat wave across parts of our area through Wednesday. There will be some storms Tuesday, but it doesn’t look like rain will put a dent in the expanding severe drought across parts of southern New England.
