Track possible extreme weather conditions with Live Doppler 5 – NBC Chicago

The Storm Prediction Center placed most of the Chicago area at “marginal” risk of severe weather on Sunday, and storms are beginning to move through the area.

While most of northeastern Illinois is at “marginal risk” of severe storms, which could bring damaging winds and even largely isolated tornadoes, eastern Kankakee County and all of north- western Indiana are at a “slight risk” of severe storms.
