FRIDAY STORMS
A cold front is on the way Friday with scattered afternoon downpours and thunderstorms. Some of these storms will become strong to severe with damaging wind and hail, especially north and west of Boston. The risk for rain will start around noon and continue through the evening commute. These storms will weaken and gradually fade at night. If you have outdoor plans, stay weather aware! Download the Boston 25 Weather App to get alerts and see the radar. Make sure you have a plan to take cover if a storm hits.
DECENT WEEKEND
Temperatures will be cooler this weekend with an onshore breeze. Highs will reach about 80 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Beaches will stay a tad cooler. We expect partly cloudy skies both days with thicker clouds puffing up in the afternoons with the small chance for an isolated pop up shower in southern New England. Overall it looks decent for getting out this weekend.
