French voters return to voting booths on Sunday in a second round of voting to decide who will be their president for the next five years – incumbent President Emmanuel Macron or his far-right rival Marine Le Pen.
While Macron appears to have the best chance of re-election of any French president for many years, Le Pen is fighting for his political future as defeat in his third tilt at the Elysee Palace could trigger changes at the top of his party of the National Rally.
