BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service is battling a fire at a commercial building in the 3500 block of Avenue B on Friday afternoon.
According to the BFRS, all employees were evacuated from the one-story building and injuries were reported.
An “unknown chemical” is present inside the building and a hazmat team has also been deployed to the area.
